of urban areas, develop solutions, build in
more sustainable ways, manage effectively,
and appreciate different cultures and
diversity.

planning, statistics, GIS, environmental
studies, and public management.

What can I do with this degree?
The Urban Studies major offers five
areas of concentration:

3. Environmental Policy and
Management
4. GIS and Applications
5. Individually designed track
Our graduates work in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in governmental agencies,
health care facilities, and environmental advocacy organizations. In addition to professional
careers, this degree prepares students for law school and graduate study.
