Project Status Update Per the updated meeting list (handout); Notations included: • Building 300 projected to open January 2012 • Marquee near bid • Doug will check status of campus signage project • Line item 47, 800, 900, 1000, & 1100 will be expedited 4. Rumor Control Mark initiated facility questions related to a possible further reduction to the summer schedule….to plan for the maximum use of the buildings during that time. Tom indicated that the Deans were considering the same efficiencies. Doug indicated that cooperation from faculty would also be required so that the minimum number of buildings were used over the summer, and those that were used were utilized to the maximum extent. 5. Other Matters Initiated Ashley indicated that there was no “hot water” in restrooms of 1500. Doug will check the status of the buildings hooked into the central HVAC to ascertain the status of the water-to-water heat exchanger. – NOTE: an investigation was made and B1500 does have hot water. If it has not been used for a while it can take a short time to reach the lavatory faucets. There is no re-circulation pump. Doug indicated the original budget is still allocated; no changes have been made since budgets were modified by Facilities Committee to fund B1700/1800. B1100/1500/2000 made little to no contribution at that time. No consensus has been arrived at concerning the scope of renovation work. Project on hold for more information to come forward as Education Master Plan and Facility Master Plan upgrade are developed. Dave asked why the side doors to B500 and B800 were locked from the outside during the day and regular class hours. Nate responded that it was a programming issue that Campus Security would resolve.
