CHABOT COLLEGE CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY II Semester 2 Lab Final Guide For the lab final exam, Semester Two students should be prepared to perform the following tasks in the lab: 1. Configure TCP/IP on a PC; use winipcfg to verify the configuration. 2. Use CDP to discover IP addresses of neighbors. 3. Telnet to other routers 4. Plan and assign IP addresses and subnet masks from the private address space 5. Plan and enter a router configuration that includes these elements: hostname enable secret message of the day interface configurations password control on vty 0 4 RIP routing host table entries or DNS configuration access control lists 6. Test a router configuration using ping, trace, telnet, and show commands. 7. Troubleshoot configuration problems. Students will complete these tasks working individually and independently.
