In 2013-14, the number of AA/AS degrees awarded at Chabot surged to 836, the highest since the early nineties.
Half of the increase of 125 more degrees over the previous year was due to graduates in the new AA-T majors.
Certificates fell in 2013-14 to 241, closer to the average, after hitting a high point of 297 in 2012-13.
During this time period, Chabot awarded a yearly average of 657 degrees and 233 certificates.
