Please describe your department / program and its mission.
The Social Work program operates with in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social
Work, which operates within the College of Arts and Sciences. The division has six full time faculty
members (as of Fall 2015) and typically has two adjunct faculty members teaching part-time.
Everyone who teaches in Social Work possesses the terminal practice degree in our discipline
(MSW). Five of the six full time members also have doctorates, and all are licensed to practice social
work in Texas.

What is your current review time-line?
The TTU Social Work program's accreditation with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is
currently "In Candidacy for Accreditation". The next site review should take place in the fall of 2016
and accreditation is expected to follow.
