Financial Advisor Intern Role The 10 week Financial Advisor Internship Program is structured to provide a foundation in understanding the Financial Services industry, the Merrill Lynch business, and our Financial Advisor career track. Our interns will be given the opportunity to learn about our advisory business by gaining exposure to key aspects of the wealth management division including various investment vehicles, relationship building and client support. The intern’s responsibilities may include: • Conducting product, market, and client research • Developing business acumen and understanding of the markets • Reporting and analysis • Updating and maintaining databases • Assisting in business development Training The Program’s learning curriculum includes on the job training as well as business and professional development training delivered virtually. Training is designed to help interns build their business acumen, effectively work in the advisory business, and assist as they launch careers in financial services upon graduation.
