A Texas Tech Officer issued a Lubbock County citation(s) for possession of
alcohol by a minor to two students and one non-student. One student was also
issued a Lubbock County citation for driving while under the influence of
alcohol by a minor, following an observed traffic violation in the 1800 block
of Akron Avenue. All involved individuals signed the citations and were
released. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver upon request of the
owner. See offense report #14-1124.
