A Texas Tech Officer released a student pending the filing of charges for
possession of marijuana, following an investigation into a suspicious odor in
Murdough Residence Hall. See offense report # 13-0054.
A Texas Tech Officer issued a student a Lubbock County citation for driving
under the influence of alcohol by a minor, following a traffic stop in the 3000
block of 18th Street. The student signed the citation and was released. See
offense report # 13-0055.
A Texas Tech Officer arrested a student for driving while intoxicated,
following a welfare check on a vehicle at the intersection of Texas Tech
Parkway and Marsha Sharp Freeway. The student was transported to the
Lubbock County Jail. The vehicle was impounded by Lubbock Wrecker
Service. See offense report # 13-0056.
