Calculators

Weekly quizzes will be given at the end of class every Thursday (except on exam weeks). The lowest quiz grade will be dropped. Makeup quizzes will only be given due to documented emergencies.

The Midterm Exam will be given on Thursday, July 7 from 8:00-9:00 a.m. The material covered on this exam will be announced at least one week before the exam. The cumulative Final Exam will be given on Tuesday, August 2 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. No makeup exams will be given, unless due to a documented emergency. If you are unable to make it to an exam, you must let me know as early as possible so you can take the exam before the test date.

Unless otherwise announced, the use of calculators will not be allowed for in-class quizzes and exams.

The use of calculators is discouraged, but not forbidden, for homework assignments.

Attendance policy

Attendance will not be taken. However, it is your responsibility to stay up-to-date on the material covered in class and to learn of any announcements given, as you will be held responsible for them.

Since this is a condensed course, be aware that missing one class meeting will result in missing more material than in one class of a traditional course.

ADA Statement

The American with Disabilities Act requires that reasonable accommodations be provided for students with cognitive, systematic, learning and psychiatric disabilities. Please contact me at the beginning of the semester to discuss any accommodations you may require for the course.
