Students involved in ELC projects will enroll in this new college-wide course. (See page 1 of 1) ACCY Revisions Revisions to two course titles (ACCY 472 and ACCY 499H) were approved. (See page 1 of 1) Business Majors An update was provided on student requests for various majors in the college. Hidden Prerequisites Although not perceived as a current problem in the college, members agreed that prerequisite courses which are necessary for students’ success in a course should be clearly publicized. Implications for further research are also considered. PRQ: Consent of instructor. Rationale: Using analytic and creative thinking to develop business solutions, managing projects in a timely fashion, and effective performance in cross-functional teams are skills in high demand by business organizations. This class will give students an opportunity to apply business concepts to real-world problems and hone their analytic, creative, project management, and teambuilding skills in an experiential learning context. Note: The Department of Operations Management and Information Systems was contacted regarding duplication of content.
