Dance Classes
Specialty/Small Group Training
Tribal Belly Dance tones your muscles,
improves your dance posture and
prepares you for powerful signature
movements. M/L
Country Dance is an all level
country swing class where we teach
two-stepping along with
incorporating swing moves, lifts,
flips and dips. M/L
Better Bodies Bootcamp is a
challenging and fun heart pumping
workout for men and women! This
bootcamp is designed to get you in
shape and strengthen your mind
and body through our progression
format. H/M
Rowing Circuit is a power based
cardio class that will increase
cardiovascular endurance and
strengthen muscles. This class will
teach proper technique and mechanics
on how to use a rower. H/M
Breakdancing is a popular style of
street dance that will incorporate
intricate body movements, strong
acrobatic moves, coordination, and
style. M
Beginner Belly Dance is a popular
Middle-Eastern dance that assists in
torso conditioning, rhythm, and
balance. This class is great for
cardio and muscle toning. M/L
The BeFit Club specifically
designed for faculty & staff, and
partners. Class will be designed
for all levels of fitness and
instructed by two personal trainers.

Muscles & Mascara is a woman only
weightlifting class designed to
empower women with confidence and
knowledge of the proper technique to
lift weights and strengthen muscles
while getting in an amazing workout.

Beginner Bachata is designed for
participants to learn the fundamentals of
the Modern Style Bachata, which has
become a huge sensation in the
Dominican Republic and around the
world. No partner required. M/L
Beginner Salsa Dance will teach
beginner to intermediate level
moves. A partner is not required;
you will mingle in the class. M/L
Kettlebell/TRX is a high intensity
but low impact class that will get
your heart pumping and muscles
strong. This class will teach
participants how to properly use a
kettlebell and TRX. H/M
Acro Yoga Basics will help teach
students to trust and react to their
partner with nonverbal
communication. Participants will learn
how to safely flow through some basic
acro moves and build a foundation for
further exploration of this style of
yoga. L/M/H
Music Video Choreography is where
you will find your inner Britney,
Beyonce, Michael Jackson, and many
more. It’s a class that will definitely get
you moving, grooving, sweating, and
dancing all day long! M
CrossFit
Texas Tech CrossFit will cover the basics of
strength and conditioning, but we always offer
plenty of scaling to adjust to your fitness level.
Fundamental movements include basic pull-ups,
push-ups, dips, the kettlebell swing, barbell
training, and cardio. H/M
