ERS Announcement:
In June ERS will be sending out our Annual Open Enrollment Packets. Login to your ERS account
and make sure that your address is correct so that you will receive your packet. If you need help
logging in or you have any questions please email the Employee Service Center at:

Request for Cash Advances:
New process that has been implemented on getting cash from PlainsCapital Bank. This would be
for Cash Advances and for departments that need to get change. These departments have a
change fund set up and may need to exchange larger currency for smaller currency and/or coin.
If a department is wanting to get set up where they can order change, please contact Alice Schulz
at 834-5677. She will be glad to set you up. To request a cash advance for research the form is

Faculty Summer Insurance Pre-Deductions:

One more pre-deduction remaining that will be on the June 1st paychecks
Anyone who was not pre-deducted will be billed from Payroll & Tax Services in June, July,
& August (3 separate bills)
o Bills are sent via email and mailed to the permanent address in the system
o Please do not ignore the bill as we do not want cancellations for non-payment

2016 Staff Senate Tech Advantage Scholarship Vendor Fair will be held this year on
Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Red Raider Ballroom of the
SUB. Over 30 vendors, free food, free door prizes, free giveaways. See attachment.

Nominations are now being accepted for our upcoming elections. We will have 44
vacancies to be filled for FY2017. If you are interested in running for Staff Senate, please
