Description
With the increased demands and constraints of today’s power grid, Emerson‘s battery
support cabinets offer carriers the ability to quickly enhance the reliability of customer
service through a cost effective infrastructure enhancement.
Emerson’s battery support cabinets are designed to provide maximum power backup
within a condensed footprint, maximizing power density and minimizing site-leasing
costs.
Multiple platforms and configurations allow for a variety of power reserve density and ability to grow reserve time based on system growth.
A choice of unique cooling systems allow for extended battery life as well as solutions tailored to each specific geographic location.
Each system is pre wired and pre tested to speed site installation and provide a turnkey
solution to the service provider.

with an independent termination
breaker to ease servicing and
maintenance.
•Each system provided with a cost
effective fan cooled solution or
a more robust optional AC or DC
powered air conditioning solution
that will allow for a more stable
environment and increases
battery life
•System may be configured to
provide additional room for site
electronics, such as microwave
back haul, within the same
compact footprint of the battery
cabinet minimizing the amount
of intercabinet cabling between
a separate ancillary cabinet and
battery cabinet to the radio system
•Optional DC power plant available
