Welcome to Fourth Grade! We will be busy over the summer getting ready for an incredible new
school year. Here's a glimpse of what we will be learning about in your fantastic fourth grade year.
We will be studying the Lewis and Clark expedition, westward expansion on the Oregon Trail, the life
cycle of salmon, force and motion, as well as reading great books and learning new math topics.
There will also be several field trips in the upcoming year; the cost is approximately $9 for the year.
In addition to bringing the school supplies listed below, you can prepare for fourth grade by
mastering your addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. Please practice these over the
summer. Also, keep reading the books you love and try some new ones out too!
