David Lawver, a professor in Tech’s Department of Agricultural Education and Communications, has been selected to receive a Presidential Volunteer Service Award from Little Rock-based Winrock International. The livestock team took first place at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Contest on Mar. 14.
