An incredible exhibition of 300+ objects that feature
the inspirational and creative design, pattern and
form found in a wide variety of traditional handcrafted
objects from African homes, covering 70 ethnic groups
from 30 countries spanning 130 years. Sponsored by
CLASS.
WOLSTEIN CENTER
Experience the marquee alumni event of the year when
CSU and the Alumni Association salute this year’s
class of distinguished alumni. This is always one of
the highlights of the year. Previous recipients since
the award’s creation will also be recognized. You won’t
want to miss this spectacular event. Tickets ($125p/p)

parade marching with classmates and current
students. The parade begins by assembling behind
the Student Center and ends right in the middle of the
fun on 18th street. FREE t-shirt provided for registered

Dennis Keating, Maxine Goodman Levin College of
Urban Affairs
1964 was such a momentous year in our history.
Whether it was local politics, the war on poverty,
civil rights legislation, the introduction of the great
society, the beginnings of the Vietnam War, or the
Cleveland Browns winning a championship…1964
was one of the most eventful in recent history.
Alumni and friends are invited to this tag-teamed
lecture about so many of the important issues…in
the year of `64.
Dennis Keating is a Levin College Distinguished
Professor. He holds a joint appointment in the
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and serves as
the director of the Master of Urban Planning, Design
and Development Program. Norman Krumholz
is a Professor in the Levin College and served as
Cleveland’s Planning Director from 1969-1979.
Krumholz and Keating co-authored Revitalizing
Urban Neighborhoods.

increasing the number of college-educated
residents by 23 percent from 2006-2012. Come
