“This Is So Powerful”: Reflecting with an Exemplary Technology-Using Teacher Educator Abstract: This case study reports on a one-on-one faculty technology mentoring program and its impact on a teacher educator's role and use of technology over time. The faculty member studied tells the story of an eight-year journey into technology integration. This study describes the stages experienced by an exemplary technology-using teacher educator who moved from limited knowledge and use of technology to learning to apply basic applications in the classroom and to integrating innovative technology. Researchers also investigate the roles of technology, the technology mentoring program, and the community of learners in changing this educator’s pedagogical beliefs to be more constructivist in nature. This paper exemplifies the complex and multi- faceted change possible in professional practice and illustrates what this change is like for a faculty member involved over time in a faculty technology mentoring program.
