Thanksgiving
There will be one Mass at 10:00 am in the Upper Church
There will be no 12:15 pm or 5:30 pm Mass on this Holiday.
SUNDAY MORNING ADULT FAITH FORUM Each Sunday, following the 10:00 am Liturgies, there
will be an opportunity to share thoughts on the scriptures of the day and discuss some of the critical
issues of being a faithful Catholic in the contemporary Church. Why not join us for coffee and doughnuts
after Mass (refreshments).
"WE REMEMBER THEM": COPING WITH LOSS DURING THE HOLIDAYS--The loss of a loved
one is difficult any time of the year, but the holidays can be especially challenging for those struggling
with bereavement. If grief has changed your experience and expectations for the holidays; if the peace
and joy of the season seem far removed, you are not alone. Please join us for prayer and
companionship in the Friary Room on Sunday afternoon, November 25th, from 2:30-5 p.m. Members
of the parish staff and community will facilitate a discussion on remembering our beloved deceased and
offer personal experiences in coping with feelings of loss. Light refreshments will be served and the
program will conclude with a prayer service. You are invited to bring a photo or memento of your loved
one. For more information or to register for this program, please call the parish office at 617-552-6102.
2008 PLEDGE FOR THE GREATER GLORY
In the next week, each parishioner should receive a letter from Fr. Bob encouraging participation in the
Pledge for the Greater Glory, our annual parish support program. The goal of the program, now in its’
6th year, is to provide a predictable source of funding for the many ministries and programs that make
St. Ignatius such a wonderful and thriving parish. For parishioners who are currently part of the
Pledge program, we ask that you consider an increase in your annual pledge. For those who are not
yet part of the program, please consider joining the 500 families who pledged to support our parish.
