The topic this week is “What Do You Mean I’m Not Perfect?” (Sacrament of Reconciliation through the ages.) THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES IN EVERY DAY LIFE – Do you have any desire to make the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, integrating them into your everyday life? Would you like to learn more about Spiritual Direction? Would you like to learn more about some of the ways of praying that St. Ignatius used? In preparation for the Spiritual Exercises in Every Day Life, which will be offered beginning in the fall of 2007, the parish is offering monthly gatherings on prayer and spiritual direction, on Tuesday evenings, October 17th, November 21st and December 19th from 7:15 pm – 9:00 pm. L ITTLE R OCK B IBLE GROUP – St. Ignatius Bible Study Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm in the Lannon Chapel. We will be studying the Book of Job. This story speaks eloquently of the mystery of human suffering. Listen to God’s word in the midst of pain. There is a $12 fee. The program began on October 4th. B OOK D ISCUSSION GROUP – Are you aware that the parish has an ongoing book discussion group that meets monthly in the rectory living room on the second floor? Participants will experience guided meditations followed by art activities and journaling. The goal is to reflect on personal symbolic images that draw one closer to Christ.
