Was this done correctly? (This one is weird) In mathematical logic a false statement implies anyting (no matter how absurd). The statement ”I can breathe underwater” is clearly false so it implies anything. For example it is logically true that ”If I could breathe underwater I would have four arms” because the ”I can breathe underwater” is false. To wrap your heads around this try to think about what it would take to disprove the above statement. We would have to find a case where I could breathe underwater yet I did not have four arms. However finding such a case is impossible because I will never be able to breathe underwater (that statement is false). So it is impossible to disprove such a claim so we default it to be true. So it is mathematically and logically true that any false statement implies ANYTHING (even the direct opposite of the statement). As weird as it sounds it is true that ”If I was a mouse then I would not be a mouse” because the statement ”I am a mouse” is false therefore it implies anything. Now that that is out of the way I will prove that I will live forever. Proof: Because of the reasoning above it is completely true that ”if I am dead then I am alive” because the statement ”I am dead” implies anything since it is false. There are two possibilites. Either I am alive or I am dead. If I am alive then I am alive (no problems). But if I am dead then I am alive from the statement above. Thus I will always be alive and will live forever. What is the problem? 1
