To encourage both teachers and students to go beyond the boundaries of the classroom to investigate the problems and successes that affect them not as students but as members of a larger community. The KHRCA increased the number of its tour groups from 8 -12 from Nassau/Suffolk, The Art Gallery saw an additional 795 visitors, and QPAC's ticket sales reflected growth in many areas as follows: Nassau/Suffolk (3273), Queens (6164), NYC (1741) and out of state (581).
