This report provides a brief overview of the Mobile and Baldwin apartment market.
The data reflects apartments with the following characteristics: One-bedroom, one-bath (1BR-1BA), Twobedroom, two-bath (2BR-2BA) and Three-bedroom, two-bath (3BR-2BA).
As of June, 2012, the average monthly rent in Mobile and Baldwin Counties increased by an average of 2.81
percent since June, 2011. The highest increase in monthly rent for Mobile and Baldwin Counties occurred in the
3BR-2BA apartments, having a 4.45 percent increase in average monthly rent, a 10.46 percent increase in median
monthly rent, and a 3.63 percent increase in average rent per square foot since June, 2011.
Below is a chart comparing the average monthly rent by apartment type in Mobile and Baldwin Counties as of
June, 2012.

In Mobile County, the highest and lowest monthly rents for the 1BR-1BA type were listed at $1,055 and $333,
respectively. The highest and lowest rents for the 2BR-2BA type were listed at $1,325 and $375, respectively. The
highest and lowest monthly rents for the 3BR-2BA type were listed at $1,650 and $420, respectively.

type as of June, 2012.

respectively. The highest and lowest rents for the 2BR-2BA type were listed at $1,165 and $390, respectively. The
highest and lowest monthly rents for the 3BR-2BA type were listed at $1,400 and $410, respectively.
