DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCES I am submitting to the college curriculum committee a proposal to change the code for SS360 Sociology of Education to bring it into compliance with new codes for other sociology courses. The course has long been dormant because it was infrequently offered, but because it is now an option in the new Urban Studies LA1 concentration it should be made consistent with the other sociology codes. Proposed Change From: SS360 Sociology of Education To: SOCY260 Sociology of Education Rationale: To make the course code consistent with the new coding system approved for other Sociology classes.
