EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduation from high school and three years experience in eligibility, investigative, judiciary, or legal work that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work; or an associate degree in business administration, human resources, law enforcement or closely related degree and two years of experience in eligibility, investigative, judiciary, or legal work that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work; or a four year degree and six months of on the job training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. DUTIES Work in this position involves the initiation, preparation, and enforcement of child support orders in the IV-D program. Purpose is to insure the participation of absent parents in the financial support of their children by utilizing all available legal means as set forth in the federal and state guidelines and laws for the IV-D program. Responsible for knowledge of computer to work with ACTS program to network with other state agencies for collection and tracking of absent parents. Responsible for completion of forms, reports, statistics, etc. associated with case preparation to the agency attorney for court-work involves presenting cases in court as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Administrative staff.
