New Student Enrollment Planning
To provide a welcoming environment for all incoming transfer students and to new
freshmen into the Freshman Academies, and to conduct welcome and/or orientation
programs geared to facilitate responsible and engaged new students. Follow up is
maintained through the first two semesters through activities such as the Early Alert
program.

two to four weeks after registration for new

The "show-rate" for the five sessions conducted to date for Fall
2011 has been 82%; 25 additional sessions are scheduled
through August. Approximately 3000 freshmen are expected to
participate. Limited funds for the current fiscal year unfortunately
limited the number of sessions that could be offered.
