International Students
The Center for International Affairs, Immigration & Study Abroad (The Center) primarily
assists international F1 Visa students in setting academic goals and maintaining their legal
status during their studies at Queensborough Community College (QCC). Additionally,
The Center assists students and community members with immigration issues, educates
them of their rights as immigrants, and informs them of available benefits. Moreover, The
Center promotes study abroad opportunities, provides application assistance and conducts
pre-travel seminars for its students.

The Advisory Committee promotes the Study Abroad Program to No

regarding the Program. The Committee also assists in the
selection of the Salzburg Global Seminar participants (students).
Special Orientation Sections (ST-100)
Tracked all new F1 students to make sure they were attending the Yes
ST-100 classes and that they completed and passed the class
with a grade of "P" (passing) each semester.
