Student Affairs – Year-end Report – Part B – Planning and Assessment OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS AND RECRUITMENT Mission: The Office of Admissions and Recruitment supports and advances the recruitment, admission and enrollment of students to Queensborough Community College. Operating under the University's policy of open-admission, the office seeks to collaborate with internal and external partners to promote higher education to the public we serve. Actual outcomes A new streamlined report, was developed using feedback from Department Chairs, was rolled out and distributed at regular intervals to assist with decision making Use of Hobsons has expanded. Strategic communication plan was developed. Plans for expanded recruitment, with focus on Nassau County are being developed for next recruitment cycle.
