Student Learning Center The Student Learning Center is the hub of academic life at Queensborough Community College. It provides a welcoming environment for students and faculty for teaching and learning. However, in specific disciplines/courses, significant differences in grades earned between tutored and non-tutored students can be seen. For example, 69% of BU 101 students attending tutoring earned C or higher compared to 48% of students who did not attend tutoring. However, the opposite can also be seen: 39% of LI 111 students attending tutoring earned C or higher compared to 63% of students who did not attend tutoring.
