MISSION

INSTRUCTIONS:

The Academic Computing Center supports educational technology, including; a student computer lab comprised of industry and instructor-specified software, internet access and printing; classroom presentation technology including computers, podia, projection devices; technology workshops for students, faculty and staff; faculty development via courses in eLearning, Blackboard & Epsilen; campus-wide ePortfolio; provide technical specification consulting with purchasing, installation, repair, and help-desk service for equipment; communication services including development and maintenance of QCC Web site; development of Web-based applications; content design and display of campus digital signage and the maintenance of a campus video archive via TigerMedia and YouTube.

Presidential Lecture Series featuring Jules Allen and second was for Commencement 2013.

Researched and purchased necessary equipment and trained departmental CLTs to monitor the live stream and camera equipment during the event.

Researched the necessary equipment, obtained quotes, coordinated with B&G to have a

300 ft. HDMI cable permanently installed there, and then tested and implemented the necessary workflow for those events.

Summer website photo shoot –

Marketing requested a multi-day photo shoot with students for website recruitment and promotional purposes. Coordinated with Bonnie Cook to utilize and schedule tutors from the Student

Learning Center and our ACC photo staff. These photographs ended up being used on the website, social media and print advertisements.

Speech/Theater video editing equipment – Met with Speech and
