All instructors should
be recording attendance
through eRoster. QCC
requires all attendance
to be kept on eRoster.
While the system initially takes some getting used to, in the long
run, it will be a time
saver.
Final Grade Rosters
Before you know it, the
semester will be over and
it will be time to submit
your final grades. Final
grades will be submitted
via eRoster. The tab for
entering final grades will
appear the last week of
the semester. When this
tab appears, faculty can
begin to enter their final
grades. The dates for
grading will be posted
toward the end of the semester.
If you have any questions, please contact
Michelle Holden in the

Instructors and Liaisons have
daily access to students at
our partner schools. The
College Now Office needs
your help in promoting all
the offerings of the College
Now programs. Not only do
we need you to engage students about the College Now
classes offered at your
school, but we want you to
get students excited about
the other benefits that come
along with participation in
College Now.

Withdrawals vs. Deletions
There seems to be confusion regarding deletions and withdrawals.
Deletions should be
made if a student registers for a class and
never attends or attends
only the first week of
classes. Students may
also be deleted if they
have a program change
that precludes participation in College Now.
Withdrawals should be
made if the student attends after the first
week of class and then
stops. Withdrawals can
also be made for students whom instructors
determine will not pass
the class. Instructors
should discuss the
withdrawal option with
at-risk students. College Now does not issue “Incompletes” or
“WN.”
Orientations
College Now conducts
orientations on the QCC
campus.. While the tasty
lunch we provide is a big
draw for students, they
also get to sample college
life. Attendees hear from
admissions and tour the
campus with student
guides. This year we introduced a new component to our orientations:
“Applying to College.”
Students get a quick presentation about getting organized about applying to
college—both to public
and private schools.
