The samples were tested using forensic analysis methods. The objective of this research was to see if there was any differences in the creek and pond water using methods and instrumentationthatareusedinforensicchemistry.Differentiatingwatersamplescanhaveabigimpact in the forensic field because it can help in determining where a water sample could have come from. The different methods and instrumentation used to collect data were Redox, HPLC, FTIR, pH, conductivity, andmicroscopy.Overalltherewereafewtechniquesthathelpedindifferentiatingpond waterfromcreekwaterthatcanpotentiallybebeneficialintheforensicchemistryfieldinthefuture.
