*Holy   Cross,   Rochester,   is   seeking   a   full-­time   Pastoral   Minister   or   Pastoral   Associate.   The
Pastoral  Minister/Associate  is  directly  responsible  to  the  Pastor  and  assists  him  and  the  Deacon  to   provide  for  the  parish’s  communal  spiritual  and  social  needs.  This  is  accomplished  by  participating  in   the   comprehensive   planning,   implementation,   and   evaluation   of   the   parish’s   goals   and   objectives   through  attendance  at  Parish  Council,  staff  liaison  with  Liturgy  and  Spiritual  Life  Committee,  Diocesan
Gatherings,  Professional  Development,  and  Regional  networking.
Working  collaboratively  with  entire  pastoral  and  office  staffs,  the  Pastoral  Minister/Associate  provides   planning  and  support  for  weekend  liturgies,  along  with  liturgies  for  Holy  Days,  special  celebrations,   and  funerals  (including  meeting  with  families).
Also  included,  but  not  limited  to,  is  coordination  of  the  parish  calendar,  training  of  Liturgical  ministers,   recruiting   volunteers,   and   developing   relationships   and   maintaining   contact   with   members   of   the   congregation.
