EFFECTIVE 07/01/2015 OTHER MOSAIC DIGITAL ACADEMY 2015-16 Mosaic Digital Academy, Part-Time (Adjunct) Instructors - Base pay of $2,000 per course title, per semester, plus bonuses, with eligibility determined as follows:. For courses without an end-of-course (EOC) exam - after the completion of each semester, $50 bonus per student that passes the semester For courses with an EOC exam - after the completion of the school year, $100 bonus per student that passes the EOC Mosaic Digital Academy, Full-Time Instructors – Pay schedules are the same as for full-time instructors at other District schools (see instructional salary schedules). 132 EFFECTIVE 07/01/2015 SUBSTITUTES, STUDENT WORKERS, & LIGHT DUTY ASSIGNMENTS 2015-16 SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS – Not entitled to fringe benefits Substitutes with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or higher) certificate will be paid $71 per day. Those with an AA degree or equivalent certificate will be paid $60.38 per day. Those not holding a degree or equivalent will be paid $60.38 per day ($8.05/hour). Substitutes working at any school with extended hours will be paid their appropriate hourly rate, according to degree/diploma, including time-and-one-half for hours exceeding 40-hours/week. Consecutive Rate: If a substitute Teacher is employed for more than 20 consecutive days in one position, said teacher will be paid $90.00 per day for that period of time taught beyond 20 days. After 10 days in the single position if the substitute is absent, continuity will not be broken only if the absence is for sickness or an emergency. Substitute Teachers who have worked one hundred or more (100+) days during the previous school year will be paid $90 per day after working fifty (50) days in the current school year regardless of continuity of position. Substitute Drivers: $13.00/hour, effective 10/22/12 Substitute Drivers, Field-Trip Rate: $13.00/hour, effective 10/22/12 Other Substitutes: $8.05/hour* STUDENT WORKERS (not entitled to fringe benefits) - A minimum wage of $8.05. During the second year of employment they may be paid an additional $.35 per hour on the recommendation of the supervisor. LIGHT DUTY – Entitled to fringe benefits, unless temporary employee: Employees placed on temporary light duty by a physician approved under worker's compensation will be paid an hourly rate equal to 85% of his/her regular hourly rate for hours worked, and may apply to the worker's compensation carrier for additional compensation up to the limits specified by law. Persons in full-time positions that have been placed on light duty will continue to receive full benefits. Persons in part-time positions that have been placed on light duty will continue to receive only those benefits required by law. *Hourly amounts will automatically increase to comply with the minimum wage requirements of Article X, Section 24, Florida Constitution. 133 EFFECTIVE 07/01/2015 GROUP FITNESS LEADERS (FUNDED BY THE WELLNESS PROGRAM) 2015-16 Group Fitness Leaders – Part-time positions, unique to specific classes offered through the District’s wellness program, paid at the following rates: 1.
