To transition from the 2014-15 schedules to the new 2015-16 schedules, administrators will be placed based on creditable years of experience as a school principal and/or district administrator unless (a) placement based on actual years of experience causes a pay increase, in which case the administrator will be placed at a lower slot equal to his/her current salary, and a “transition factor adjustment” will be used to ensure no decrease in pay when compared to 2014-

15, or (b) placement on salary schedule based on years of experience results in a decrease in pay, in which case the employee will be placed on slot closest to his/her current salary, and a “transition factor adjustment” will be used to ensure no decrease in pay when compared to 2014-15.
