PS9020 – Leave Type Table
Required table for the Leave Accounting module.
Maintained by SBCTC-ITD and colleges.
Use this screen to view and change attributes for the types of leave available to employees. Leave types
that do not require accrued leave balances (for example, bereavement and military leave) can be
established so that leave taken transactions can be entered and leave taken balances can be maintained
on the Leave Posting Screen (PS1019).
Use the Leave Type Table to identify the following attributes for a leave type:
•
•
•
To identify which leave transaction code to use for docking leave (the Leave Dock field) when a
leave balance is insufficient for the amount of leave taken.
To indicate whether leave records are to be be maintained by the day or month (the Leave By
Day field).
To indicate whether the balance adjustment for a leave transaction should be set to a
maximum, is an overlay balance, or does not have a maximum balance (the Balance adjustment
Leave Transaction field).
The protected functions on this screen are A (Add) and D (Delete). To add or delete leave type codes,
complete the appropriate request form. To see a sample request form, refer to Appendix D of the PPMS
Control Tables manual.
To obtain a complete list of leave type codes, run DataExpress procedure PS9020R (from the Group
Inform and Account PLIB).
