Fort Pierce Westwood High School’s 9th Grade Academy is designed to give students a
smooth transition from middle school and guide students along a path of sustained
success in high school. Your child’s high school career is a predictor of his/her future.
Success in high school is a cooperative effort between the student and parents, teachers,
administrators, and the community. Listed below are the objectives that will ensure the
early success of your child.
As a student of Fort Pierce Westwood’s 9th Grade Academy, I agree to:

Follow all the rules and regulations as stated by the St. Lucie County Student Code
of Conduct and the Ft. Pierce Westwood Discipline Code.
Maintain satisfactory academic progress each nine weeks in all subject areas.
Select classes in accordance with a major area (career) of study.
Commit to the core values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness,
caring, and citizenship.
As parent/ guardian, I agree to support my child in his/her commitment to the above goals.
As an additional measure of this support, I agree to:
