Defining%“Wellness%Cluster”:%%%
A%“Wellness)Cluster”%consists%of%a%set%of%loosely%or%*ghtly%
connected%health%and%wellness%ini*a*ves%that%work%
together%so%that,%in%many%respects,%they%can%be%viewed%as%
a%single%system%all%dedicated%to%the%wellbeing%and%
collec*ve%prosperity%for%our%community.%%

In%economic%terms,%it%is%a%geographic%concentra*on%of%
interconnected%companies,%specialized%suppliers,%service%
providers,%and%associated%ins*tu*ons%that%promote%or%
contribute%to%wellness%(including%the%50%New%HavenT
based%nonprofits%in%the%health%sector%which%have%
combined%revenues%of%$2.78%billion).%%
