CMPS 5333 – Simulation – Simulation Literature Search
Due: Friday, October 17 – Class time
For this assignment you are to read and review 5 simulation articles. The articles must meet the following
criteria:
 Published by the Winter Simulation Conference – dates 2009 - 2013
 Article describes an ACTUAL simulation project conducted
The links below will lead you to the Conference site and to the publications. If you cannot answer the questions
below for a particular article, choose a different article.
I will choose one of your articles for you to make a presentation to class later in the semester. Do not work
together to pick the same articles or you will have to do additional research for the presentation.

For each of the articles write an article summary in the following form and containing the specified information.
Start each summary on a new page. Must be written in word processor with single spacing, Times New Roman
font size 12. Each part MUST be written in complete sentences with correct grammar & punctuation. Each
numbered part below is to be a separate, well-formed paragraph. No quotes are allowed. If you copy verbatim
any part of the article, you will receive a zero on this assignment. ~ Read the article then write the answers to
