PROGRAM GOALS AND OUTCOMES | THE “WHY”
In congruence with the recent growth in pharmacy schools and the continued advances in pharmacy practice, particularly in ambulatory care, there is a need for individuals who
can serve as both qualified pharmacy faculty members and progressive clinicians. Through our PGY2 program, we hope to provide an opportunity for highly motivated
professionals to develop the skills necessary to be successful pharmacy practice faculty members: individuals who can motive and inspire students in and outside of the classroom
and bridge the divide between classroom learning and patient-centered care.
