Brochure “TFL ECO Guidelines, Part 3 – Restricted substances in leather
Please find enclosed our latest edition of the TFL ECO Guidelines. This publication
is the third in series that TFL is preparing in order to enhance the understanding of
ecological aspects in leather manufacturing.
The tanning industry must comply with a rapidly increasing set of regulations and
commercial specifications, which restrict the use of chemical substances considered
to have hazardous or toxic properties. The issue “Restricted substances in leather”
presents the topic in a clear and easy to understand manner for people working in
tanneries and the leather industry.
We are convinced that the brochure is customised to the particular requirements of
