Course Format
This course covers all ten chapters of the text, at the rate of two chapters per week. The first lecture hour of a chapter will be
devoted to a discussion of the main topics in the chapter and the second lecture hour will be used to go over all of the multiple
choice questions in the book.
Each Friday's quiz consists often multiple choice questions (5 per chapter) taken directly from the text except for minor numerical
changes.
The final exam covers all ten chapters with one multiple choice question per chapter.
Each quiz, as well as the final exam, counts for 20 points. The best 5 of the 6 scores counts towards the total grade. No alternate
dates are allowed for the quizzes or the final exam.
You are encouraged to update statistical information in the book and hand them in to the instructor.
