What is the TEAS V – Examination?
TEAS-V stands for “Test of Essential Academic Skills”. The TEAS V is a multiple-choice
assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics science, and English and
language usage. It is composed of 170 questions, and is a timed test that requires 209 minutes to
complete.

Reading comprehension is 58 minutes with 48 questions
Mathematics is 51 minutes with 34 questions
Science is 66 minutes with 54 questions
English and Language Usage is 34 minutes with 34 questions.
How do I register for the TEAS- V Testing?
1. Go to www.atialliedhealth.com and click “create account” which is found on the right
side of the home screen.
2. It is very important to keep this newly created ATI Allied Health username and password
in a safe place; as this information will be required on the day of testing.
3. Select the date you will be taking the exam.
What is the cost of the TEAS-V Exam?
The cost of the TEAS-V examination is $75 if taken at Drexel University.

What are the required scores needed to apply to the program:
Student applicant can locate his/her “adjusted individual total score” on page 1 of the individual
score report. The following scores are the minimum required scores for application into the
Associate of Science Radiologic Technology Program.

Testing results; how will Drexel receive my scores?

Test scores will be available on the ATI Allied Health website within a few minutes after
completing the online TEAS V exam by logging into the student account on the allied
health website at www.atialliedhealth.com. Click on the “my results” tab in the top menu
which will take you to the proctored assessment page. Click on the assessment report of
the test in question. Testing center staff will be available to help if needed.

Print the test score result. A copy of the test results is required to be submitted with your
application to the Radiologic Technology Program. Test results will also automatically be
sent for placement in the student’s admission file.
How many times can I take the TEAS-V Exam?
Test may be repeated three times.
Where can I find a study guide for the TEAS V exam?
Study resources are available for purchase at www.atialliedhealth.com. Click on the online store
in the top menu bar. Click on TEAS Prep on the left side menu. Add to your cart the resources
you desire to purchase. You will be required to create an account. Just follow the prompts.
Purchases must be done by credit card or debit/credit cards only.
Before you come to take the TEAS V exam?
You must create your username and password online at http://www.atitesting.com. This must be
done before the day you plan to take the test. Payment must be made online at the time of
registration.
When you come to the testing center you will need to bring:


Your ATI username and password
A valid photo ID
Calculators cannot be used on any part of this exam.
EXAMINATION DAY REQUIREMENTS
All tests will be administered on Saturday mornings. Check in for registrants will begin at
9:30am. Anyone arriving after 9:30am will not be admitted and will not be able to take the test.
The test will begin promptly at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm.







The deadline to sign up for the exam is 12:00pm (noon) the day before the exam.
It is highly recommended that you arrive early.
Those arriving late will NOT be allowed to test.
There are no breaks allowed during the examination.
There is no food or phones allowed during the examination.
All bags must be checked in with the proctor before the examination begins.
The Fee for testing is non-refundable, and requests for rescheduling will NOT be considered. All
"no show" registered test applicants will forfeit the test fee paid

CANCELLATION
If an examination is cancelled due to inclement weather, ATI Testing will reschedule students at
no charge, or refund the money. You will be notified by email to the email address provided at
registration. ATI will send a follow up email, instructing students on how to proceed after a
cancelled test.
