Proposed Survey Questions on Promoting Technology Use in The School/LEA:

Superintendent, Principals, and LEA Technology Directors

Purpose of the Survey

Data gathered from this survey will be used by the State Board of Education, the State

Technology Commission and the NC DPI's Instructional Technology Division to provide support for implementation of instructional technology.

Superintendents:

1.

How can the Instructional Technology Division assist you to share the vision, goals, and objectives of instructional technology as your district provides for powerful technology integration initiatives? (presentations, consultations, assessments, leadership training, professional development, other - more than one/all of the above)

2.

How can the Instructional Technology Division better assist you in the development of your technology plan? (online submission, improved guidelines, streamlined submission with other district plans, other)

3.

How well are curriculum objectives supported by the initiatives in the technology plan?
