University of Northern Iowa Office of International Programs Position Title: Graduate Assistant – International Student Advisor Reports to: Dr. Nadia Korobova, Associate Director for International Students and Scholars Terms of Employment: For the fall semester: 20 hours per week, beginning August 25, 2014 and ending December 19, 2014. Does not include the week of Thanksgiving Break. For the spring semester: 20 hours per week, beginning January 12, 2015 and ending May 8, 2015. Does not include the week of Spring Break. Must be available 4 hours/day Monday-Friday, preferably, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; also must be available occasional evenings and weekends. Compensation: Full assistantship salary (as determined by the Graduate College; $4,800 per semester in 2014-2015 academic year). Graduate Assistants receive University holidays and do not work during Thanksgiving Break, Spring Break, or the interims between semesters. First semester graduate students must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00.
