Youth Empowerment Mini-Grant c/o Beverly Winter, EdS 304 Circle Street, Beckley, WV 25801-3212 Cell: 304 237-3518 bwinter1@suddenlink.net Youth Empowerment Mini-Grants of up to $500 are available to student groups or individuals who develop projects that assist their fellow students. These grants may be used for anti-bullying projects, appreciation for diversity projects, or any other program that has a focus on student assistance. The application may be submitted by a student and/or student advisor but must be countersigned by the Responsible Adult Fiscal Agent. The Responsible Adult Fiscal Agent must be a current NASP member who will be responsible for: overseeing the project, ensuring that the grant funds are spent for the purposes intended as stipulated in the grant application, submitting all receipts for expenses to the Children's Fund. Grant recipients are also required to submit a short written report summarizing the project and its success for possible publication in the Communiqué. Up to five Youth Empowerment MiniGrants will be awarded each year. One check for half the grant will be sent upon approval. The second half will be sent when receipts are submitted covering the entire grant amount. Grant recipients will need to report on the success of the project by sending a short written article for possible publication in the Communiqué, photos, etc. We want to let others know about your good works!
