Attorney Scott Armstrong Joins Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels,

The Houston law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend is pleased to
welcome Scott Armstrong to the firm as an associate attorney. Mr. Armstrong is a graduate
of the University of Houston Law Center, where he was in the top three percent of his class.
He built his legal experience advocating for clients who suffered serious personal injuries as
an attorney for another prominent personal injury firm, and he interned for three Texas
judges.
While in law school, Mr. Armstrong’s achievements included being champion of the 43rd
annual John Black Moot Court competition, champion of the 2014 Blakely Butler Moot Court
competition, and a finalist in many others. He also served as Chief Articles Editor of the
Houston Law Review. His comment in the Houston Law Review was recognized as the Best
Paper Addressing Complex Litigation. Another article, published in the Texas Environmental
Law Journal, argued that individuals should have the right to take legal action against
polluters.
Mr. Armstrong’s practice focuses almost exclusively on personal injury litigation. His cases
involve oil field accidents, maritime accidents, product liability cases, premises liability
cases, automobile accidents, defective drug cases, and commercial disputes in Texas and
throughout the country. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas, the United States District
Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
