The Council met from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the University Union Board Room.
Mietus noted that the information regarding common finals that was requested some weeks ago
from the four college deans yielded only one response (from Business and Technology). The
Council recommended that another request be sent with a copy to the Provost. Once this
information is received the Council will determine if any revisions are necessary in the Final
Examination Policy, particularly that portion having to do with item #6 pertaining to the CAGAS
review of common finals permission every four years.
The Council also granted permission to the University Union Board for a permanent sanction for
attendance at an annual conference event.
The Admissions sub-committee will meet Tuesday, Nov 29 in the Admissions Office, SH 117.
Byoung Lee and John Miller are scheduled to serve.
The Council will meet again at 2:00 p.m. on December 1, 2005 in the University Union Board
Room.
