The Council met from 2:00 to 3:20 p.m. in the University Union Board Room.
Mietus announced that Miller and Lee are scheduled for the April 25 admissions subcommittee meeting, and Mericle and Westerhold are scheduled for May 2, should these
committees need to meet.
Mike Fimmen met with the Council to respond to questions regarding the new catalog
copy for the Social Work Program. The Council approved their request that SW
applicants must have a personal interview with a SW faculty member and complete the
SW Assessment exam. Miller moved that the catalog copy should also describe the right
of appeal should a student fail to meet the admission requirements to the program. The
Council approved this motion.
The Council will meet again at 2:00 p.m. on April 27, 2006 in the University Union
Board Room.
