Resinex TPX-4010 ™ Strong acid cation resin Resinex™ TPX-4010 is a strongly acidic gel-type cation exchange resin. The crosslinked, polystyrene divinylbenzene matrix provides excellent resistance to physical breakdown. Resinex™ TPX-4010 is especially developed to purify the raw biodiesel stream after the separation step during manufacturing. The resin acts as a desiccant, a neutralizing agent and as an ion exchange resin to remove water, leftover reactants and by-products of the esterification process. Resinex™ TPX-4010 can be used without any pre-treatment.
