Welcome to Geometry
Materials Needed for this Class:
 A three-ring binder or spiral notebook
 Pencil
 Graph Paper
 You will be using a calculator most days. It is strongly recommended that you buy your own. If this is not possible, Rocky
has a calculator checkout system in Room 410.
Responsibility of the Student:
 You are expected to be in class every day with all of your materials.
 You will be keeping a notebook. Take good notes and keep them together as you will, at times, be able to use them on
quizzes and tests.
 You are responsible for getting notes from another student when you are absent.
 If you are absent, get your assignment immediately when you return. If you have questions about the assignments, make
arrangements to see me before school, after school, or at lunch time to get help. You will find the assignments on the web at:
www.schoolnotes.com/80526/rdrago.html
You have until the end of the chapter to get make-up work turned in.
 Food and drinks are not allowed in class. Only water in clear bottles are allowed. Failure to comply will result in a lunch
detention.
 You receive 2 tardy passes each quarter. On your third or more tardy, you will have to make up time with me.
 Headphones may be worn in class only during work time and when you are taking tests and quizzes.
 Please use proper cell phone etiquette. Please turn them off in class.
 Never be afraid to ask questions.
Evaluation:
 A quiz will be given almost everyday.
 Homework will be collected every day. It will be randomly graded. However, you will still be held accountable for the
objectives of the day due to the fact that you will be quizzed over the material.
 Late work is not accepted. (Situations will arise and it will be left up to the discrepancy of Mrs. Drago for a student to make
it up or not.)
 There are no retakes on tests and quizzes unless the entire class retakes them. (Situations will arise and it will be left up to
the discrepancy of Mrs. Drago for a student to retake it or not.)
